Spectacular Bus Ride from Funchal to Madeira Airport, Portugal - 3rd July, 2016.

Funchal is the largest city, the municipal seat and the capital of Portugal's Autonomous Region of Madeira. The city is the 6th largest city in Portugal, and has been the capital of Madeira for more than five centuries. Because of its high cultural and historical value, Funchal is one of Portugal's main tourist attractions. To read more about Funchal, click here:

This film features views from the Aero Bus as it travels from central Funchal up into the monutains, through tunnels, gorges, and on coastal roads with spectacular views of valleys below and the Atlantic Ocean. If you ever fly to Madeira, I highly recommend getting this bus from the airport into Funchal, just for the views. I did not film the journey from the airport into Funchal, but this is the film from the return journey.

Madeira is a Portuguese archipelago situated in the north Atlantic Ocean, southwest of Portugal. Its total population was estimated in 2011 at 267,785. The capital of Madeira is Funchal on the main island's south coast. To read more about Madeira, click here:
