Teleféricos da Madeira is a cable car that travels between the old part of Funchal and the parish of Monte. This film features a ride from Funchal Port to Monte at four times normal speed, followed by excerpts from the cable car ride back down the hill at normal speed. The views down the hill to Funchal, are arguably the better ones on this cable car.



Madeira is a Portuguese archipelago situated in the north Atlantic Ocean, southwest of Portugal. Its total population was estimated in 2011 at 267,785.
