I went for a socially distant walk at #RoundhayPark in #Leeds today. Plenty of other here people did too, but the park at 2.8 square kilometres was large enough to take the numbers without fear of spreading the dreaded #Coronavirus. Here is the weir at the end of the man made #WaterlooLake, which was completed in 1815 and built by soldiers who had returned from the Napoleonic wars and thus named after the Battle of Waterloo. The weir used to send water into a bathing pool, now the water leaving the lake becomes #WykeBeck. #history #fact #water #reflection #Roundhay #LeedsPhoto #IgersLeeds #nature #rural #VisitLeeds #travel #tourism #tourist #leisure #life #wanderlust #explore #Yorkshire #WestYorkshire #VisitYorkshire #England #IgersUK #IgersYorkshire
