The Penistone Line is a railway branch line operated by Northern in the West Yorkshire Metro / Travel South Yorkshire area of northern England. This film features views of the West and South Yorkshire countryside and towns from a Penistone Line Northern train, travelling from Huddersfield to Penistone. En-route the train calls at: Lockwood, Berry Brow, Honley, Brockholes, Stocksmoor, Shepley and Denby Dale before crossing the Penistone viaduct and arriving at Penistone railway station.
This film was made on an iPhone 5 mounted to the train window with a Joby suction smartphone mount, it was edited with iMovie on an iPad.
