London: A Walk Along The River Thames South Bank, From The OXO Tower to The Shard - 19th May, 2014

http://ift.tt/1u5E1pi Standing 306 metres (1,004 ft) high, the Shard is currently the tallest building in the European Union. It is the second-tallest free-standing structure in the United Kingdom, after the concrete tower at the Emley Moor transmitting station. The glass-clad pyramidal tower has 72 habitable floors, with a viewing gallery and open-air observation deck -- the UK's highest -- on the 72nd floor, at a height of 244.3 metres (802 ft). This film features views of The Shard from St. Thomas Street below, before views from all angles over London from the 72nd floor observation deck are featured, these include London's iconic hi-tech buildings including the Walkie Talkie, the Cheesegrater, the Gherkin and older more historic buildings including The Tower of London and Tower Bridge, as well as HMS Belfast moroed below. The railway lines serving London Bridge railway station are also featured within this video.

London: A Ride on the Emirates Air Line from Greenwich Peninsula to Royal Docks - 19th May, 2014
http://ift.tt/1u5DZxV The Emirates Air Line (also known as the Thames cable car) is a gondola lift link across the River Thames in London, England built by Doppelmayr with sponsorship from the airline Emirates. This film features footage in London around North Greenwich and the O2 as well as of and on the cable car ride the Emirates Air Line as it crosses the River Thames from Greenwich Peninsula to Royal Docks near the ExCel. The O2, the buildings and architecture of East London, the River Thames and the Thames Flood Barrier are all evident.
