Review: Kelly's Beach Resort, Bargara, Queensland, Australia - September 2015



Kelly's Beach resort is a holiday accommodation complex located close to Kelly's Beach in the small Queensland town of Bargara, near Bundaberg, Australia.



The resort consists of a number of chalets placed around landscaped gardens and two swimming pools (one of which is heated in Winter). Other features include a lake, tennis courts, restaurant, bar, reception, outdoor barbecues, and other entertainment / leisure facilities.



4 of us stayed at Kelly's in September 2015, we had a two floor chalet, which was chalet number 20. Downstairs the chalet had a living room, kitchen, bedroom, bathroom and toilet room. The kitchen had cooking hobs but no oven, microwave and fridge freezer. The living room had two large sofas, flat screen TV, coffee table and air conditioning. The bedroom had a double bed and large wardrobes. The bathroom had a shower-bath.



Upstairs (accessed via a ladder) were three more mattresses, so the chalet had five bed spaces, and could actually sleep seven, taking into account the sofas.



Kelly's grounds are vast and well maintained, the swimming pools were lovely, and in Winter, the heated pool was a godsend.



We had a great time at Kelly's Beach Resort and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Bargara. We will return!
