Hotel Review: Ambassador Motor Inn, Brisbane, Queensland, Australia - August 2015



I stayed at the Ambassador Motor Inn for one night in August 2015. The hotel is actually a Motel located on the Gladstone Road South of Brisbane city centre. I paid AU$110 for triple room for one night (room only).



Upon arrival at the Motel we were greeted by a friendly receptionist who kindly changed our room from an upstairs to a downstairs one (we had a lot of heavy luggage).



The room was fairly basic, it had a double and a single bed, a worktop and bed, TV, microwave and fridge. The bathroom was large and whilst dated was clean.



There were some ants in the room, which is often expected when staying on ground floor accommodation. They were quickly disposed of and didn't really present a problem.



This was a budget place to stay, but I probably wouldn't stay here again in future. I would prefer a more central location within Brisbane.
