This film features footage from a short circular walk around the city, where some of the main sites were taken in, alongside the general streets, architecture and transport of Messina. Identified features and locations within the film are as follows: The Port of Messina, Views over Messina from the MSC Splendida cruise ship, Viale San Martino, Via Santa Maria Alemanna, Carlo III Di Bourbon statue, Via 1 Settembre, Via Giuseppe la Farina, Piazza della Republica, Piazza Cairoli, Via Nicola Fabrizi, Chiesa del Carmine, Views over Messina from the bell tower of Chiesa del Carmine, University of Messina, Court of Messina, Piazza Duomo, Fountain of Orion, The Cathedral (Duomo) of Messina and Via Giuseppe Garibaldi. I very much enjoyed my visit to Messina, and will certainly return to document other parts of the city and wider region.
