Yesterday I visited that fantastic #ShibdenHall in #Halifax, which was historically the home to #AnneLister, famous for being a #woman #industrialist, landowner and #lesbian in 19th Century #England. Lister has recently been portrayed by #SuranneJones in the #BBC #drama #GentlemanJack.
