This #rock in the Firth of Forth is the #island of Bass Rock, which is situated 2km from #NorthBerwick. The island is 107 metres high and is made of #volcanic rock. The #lighthouse was constructed in 1902, it is now unmanned, and the island has #historically served as a #jail.
