Flight Review: Emirates EK017, Dubai (DXB) to Manchester (MAN) (Business Class): September 2015



I flew from Brisbane to Manchester via Dubai with Emirates in September, 2015. This was on a Qantas / Emirates codeshare ticket. I flew on the Airbus A380-800 business class. Having spent 3 weeks in Australia, travelling home business class, made the bitter pill of leaving behind family and loved ones just slightly sweeter. This review is for the leg of the journey from Dubai to Manchester.



The film begins at Dubai Airport in the Emirates Lounge, where food, drinks, magazines and computer usage is all complimentary. The film then follows the boarding of the aircraft, and a look around a Business Class 'pod', which has a reclining seat that goes almost horizontal. The film features views of the menu, food, drinks, entertainment, the stand up bar and a loo with a view!



This was a completely luxurious experience, and not something that I will be able to do very often, but it was certainly worth it.
