Just when I thought that I couldn’t possibly find a new favourite #pub in #Derby, I found a new favourite pub in Derby. #AlexandraHotel doesn’t only have a #train in the back yard and #railway memorabilia on the walls, it has fantastic #beer at cheap prices, and it’s own pub #rabbit in the lounge (see bottom pic). The beer was an astounding 8.0% #PentrichBrewing Daydreaming at a bargain £4.20 per pint! En-route the aircraft passes Howth, Sutton, Portmarnock Golf Club, Baldoyle, Clongriffin, Donaghmede, Belmayne, Fingal Cemetery, Balgriffin Cemetery, Darndale, and the M1 motorway. As the aircraft descends over the apron of Dublin Airport, it suddenly ascends as the pilot aborts the landing due to visibility issues with the low cloud. After this, the aircraft circles for a period, during which the Captain explains what is happening. After a while the aircraft safely lands on the Westerly runway at Dublin International Airport and taxis to the terminal.

I stayed at the Ibis Budget in Bamberg for one night in March, 2019. One night in a double room on a bed and breakfast basis cost me 54 Euro 95 Cents, which was a good price. The hotel is a new build, the emphasis is no-frills budget, but it is good quality and extremely functional. The bedroom has a double bed, air-conditioning, sink, desk, chair and a small open plan style wardrobe. The shower cubicle is in the room, and comes with a comedy lighting effect from the shower head. The toilet is in a separate small room.
This film features views of the hotel exterior, lobby, lift / elevator, 2nd floor corridor, a detailed room inspection of room 244, the shower light and the breakfast buffet.
This was a really good budget hotel, it is located a 2-3 minute walk from Bamberg Hauptbahnhof, and is around a 10-15 minute walk to Bamberg's old-town attractions. I liked the hotel, and would definitely consider using it again in future.
