The High Level #Bridge over the #River #Tyne, #Newcastle. This double decker bridge carries road traffic and pedestrians on the lower deck, and trains on the top. The bridge was designed by Robert Stephenson, and opened in 1849. #architecture #engineering #England #travel #tourism #tourist #attraction #leisure #life
